Blue Summit Supplies presents Made in the Rocket City, a video series showcasing the diverse local businesses of our hometown - Huntsville, Alabama.
This episode features Travel Patterns, a local brand and shop based here in Huntsville, that partners with artisans from all over the globe to design beautifully crafted home goods, jewelry, clothing, and gifts.
“We actually design many of the products that are in our shop – they are one-of-a-kind [and] they are actually Travel Patterns brand.” says Lauren Petersen, owner and founder of Travel Patterns. “Sometimes it takes more than a year to develop a lot of our products, and they’re made just for us.”
“We work directly with different artisan groups overseas…in Guatemala, the Philippines, [and] we just picked up new partnerships in Mexico, but then, over the years, we’ve also sourced things from Turkey, from India, so literally [from] all over.”
