A great place to stop for happy hour downtown is Melt — located at The Avenue. Most nights of the week you can expect to hear great live music or take part in free-to-join games like bingo or trivia. On top of the fun atmosphere, they also make delicious food. Share some Food Truck Nachos or the Picnic Duo (a chicken salad and pimento cheese dip served with crackers) with friends, but we don’t blame you for ordering the Mac ‘N Egg Roll for yourself. They also have a variety of toasted sandwiches; the Buffalo Chicken and Classic Grilled Cheese are two favorites. Top off your meal with one of their local crafts on tap or one of their specialty cocktails such as the John Emerald Sangria.
